Tune in each and every day from 2:00 - 4:00
for a further review of the day's sports activity, with Greg,
Mike and A.J.
Greg
Gurliaccio was raised in Framingham
and is a lifelong resident of the state of Massachusetts.
He attended Marian High School in Framingham and after a brief
stint at Framingham State College embarked on a career in
retail management.
After 6 years, Greg followed his dream of a career in sports
broadcasting. He attended night school at the University of
Rhode Island while working during the day in advertising sales
at Herald Media, Inc.
Greg began working with 1510 the Zone in the summer of 2004
and was soon offered various on-air sports radio programs,
which he accepted. It was there where he also began working
with A.J. Mazzola and eventually Mike Salk.
Mike
Salk left a political consulting
career in Los Angeles and returned to his roots in Boston
with hopes of hosting a sports radio show. Salk grew up in
Newton and attended Buckingham, Browne and Nichols School
in Cambridge. He then left Boston to attend Pomona College,
just outside of Los Angeles. After graduating, he remained
in L.A, working for a U.S. Congresswoman, an L.A City Councilperson
and a local lobbying firm.
Eventually, the allure of beach living wore
off and Salk made his triumphant return to Boston. He has
been with 1510 The Zone since July 2004, serving as website
columnist and evening Flash Guy.
AJ
Mazzola A Norwood resident through much of his life,
AJ now lives in Norton. He is a proud father of Ryan, a six
year old fanatic in the making. He is a lifelong sports fan
with a focus on college football specifically. He has created
his own NFL Draft Board for the past six years, with a strong
record of success.
AJ came to the Zone in 2004 as a member of
the Fan Club. That concept has morphed into Further Review.
